Qualifications
I would like to take this opportunity to forward you my resume as an
application for a position at your school.
I am a qualified Primary/Junior teacher who has graduated from Griffith University, University of Windsor and George Brown College. As part of this journey, I am seeking a position with your school in order to use my experience and skills to help young children succeed.
I have worked with children all my life in a variety of learning and
leisurely environments*. *My most current teaching positions include:
teaching literacy, music, physical education, and religion and at
Northmount Independent Boy's School. Prior to that, I have taught at
Robertson Primary State School year 1 and Woodridge Primary State School year 7. I have also run my own tutoring company, Musso's Tutoring Program, tutoring 5 to 20 year olds. Additionally, I have tutored grades 7 and 8 students during summer enrichment programs.
Part of my specialty training included: working in a Montessori CASA
classroom; in a kindergarten classroom as the Head Teacher*;* and a two year field placement with George Brown College at the affiliated day care centre, working with infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and kindergarten age groups.
Beyond the classroom, I have coached for 5 years at Markham Soccer Club, Windsor Soccer Club, and Windsor on Wheels All Stars. Furthermore, while in Australia, I coached the Girls and Boys Rugby year 7 and 5 teams. Additionally, I coach many different teams throughout the summer and winter seasons.
All of these experiences have been wonderful learning opportunities for me and have cemented my desire to continue working with children as my life's passion.. With this in mind and the learning environment that your establishment offers, I offer my service to work with your children.
Thank you for taking time to consider my suitability for working at your school. I look forward very much to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
